I like that ~ "I am, at any given time, what I choose to be." We all wear many, many different hats at one time so that we may survive the world, or at least attempt to keep up with it. From what I am understanding in my present studies, you have definitely hit upon the right questions. To me...training is everything and I am looking forward to the next delivery on Training 2.0.

You make a few interesting points and raise the right, current questions. To all your hats you wear, let me add that ASTD did a survey awhile back that revealed 35 competencies considered critical to perform roles in training. Thirteen of those were considered core competencies. Thus, you can add the hats of: Researcher, Needs Analyst, Evaluator, Program Designer, Materials Developer, Manager, Marketer, Organizational Change Agent, Individual Career Counselor, etc! to your Instructor/Facilitator and Training Administrator hats.

Congratulations, you are part of the most amazing industry of all ... Training. Can not WAIT to see what you have in store for us re: Training 2.0.
